Clinical Coordinator

TheSART Coordinator will coordinate on call schedule and activities for the SARTTeams: perform SAFE duties (medical-legal examination for sexual assaultvictims according to the DOH protocol); and serve as a consultant asneeded. The Coordinator will beresponsible to report to the SART Medical Director.
Overseethe operation of the SART Program for both Elmhurst and Queens Hospital Center.
EnsureSART coverage 24/7 through scheduling qualified SART members.
ProvideSAFE exams as needed.
Createmonthly on-call schedules by coordinating the availability of SART members.
Scheduleand conduct monthly meetings with SART staff to discuss program issues(Indicators, treatment, follow up, PI reports, etc.).
Monitorfacility's compliance as Sexual Assault Center of Excellence/annual SAFEcompetencies.
Participateand organize SART trainings, seminars, lectures, and conferences.
Collaborateand consult with the District Attorney's Office, DOH, and Criminal Justice Department, Bronx Boroughoffice, Law enforcement, and other local, city, and regional agencies.
Coordinatetraining, certification, and credentialing of SART members.
ProvideSART in-service to emergency department and hospital staff.
Preparepolicies, procedures, schedules, payroll and statistical reports for SART,Mayor's office, DOH, and Criminal Justice Department.
Provideexpert witness testimony.
Collect and analyzedata for trends/patterns and benchmarks.
Must hold a license as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner with aMasters' degree.
CertifiedNYS Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE).
Successfullycompleted a 40 hour New York State Department of Health SART Training Course.
Demonstratedcompetency in performance in the sexual assault forensic examination via completionof a preceptorship.
Continuesto complete annual competency assessments.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
